A modern and functional commuter train concept, designed to integrate seamlessly into the FGC fleet while reinforcing its visual identity.
The Talgo FGC UT 115 is a conceptual design for a commuter train developed for the public operator FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya). The goal was to create a modern, functional train that seamlessly integrates with the existing fleet while respecting FGC’s corporate identity.
The project explored several exterior design proposals, including livery concepts aligned with FGC’s branding. Interior layouts featured a 2+2 seating configuration, dedicated space for passengers with reduced mobility, and a selection of finishes and materials tailored for comfort and high-frequency service.
This proposal combines design coherence, accessibility, and operational efficiency, offering a forward-looking vision for the evolution of regional rail.
