Renfe Avril S106, Talgo
The Talgo Avril 106 is a high-speed train engineered for long-term durability, with a service life of up to 40 years. With this goal in mind, the project was focused on maximizing passenger capacity and enhancing user comfort.
Aerodynamic design: Both the exterior and interior feature smooth, aerodynamic shapes tested in wind tunnels, improving energy efficiency while creating a distinctive identity.
Spacious interior: The train’s wider body increases passenger capacity by 30%, offering flexible configurations: 3+2 seating in economy class and 2+2 in premium.
Universal accessibility: Inclusivity was a key priority, with step-free access and generous space in key areas such as restrooms, aisles, and luggage zones to accommodate all users, including those with reduced mobility.
Materials and comfort: Durable, recycled, and recyclable materials were selected in compliance with railway regulations, with a focus on delivering a pleasant passenger experience. Adaptive RGB lighting further enhances onboard comfort.
